Delete your Vend16 account

You can delete your Vend16 account, and everything in it, whenever you like. It happens straight away and cannot be undone. Vend16 is made by Spruik Co Pty Ltd (Spruik), for the Vend16 app on iPhone and Android and the website.

In the app

  1. Open Vend16 and sign in.
  2. Tap More in the bar at the bottom.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE (or your email address) and tap Delete my account.

On the web

  1. Sign in at vend16.com.
  2. Open Account in the menu.
  3. Choose Delete account, type DELETE (or your email address) and confirm.

By email

Can’t sign in? Email hello@spruik.co from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within two business days and delete the account within 30 days, usually the same day.

What is deleted

  • Your account: your email address, your password (or the link to your Google sign-in), your sessions and any email links we sent you.
  • Every app on the account: its name, store IDs, keys, webhook settings and the encrypted Google Play service account key.
  • Everything recorded for those apps: purchases, subscriptions, store notifications, webhook events and the user IDs your apps sent us.

Apps that still send purchases to Vend16 with your keys get an error from then on, so move them off Vend16 first if they rely on it.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Billing records. If you ever paid for a plan, the invoices and payments stay with our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as Australian tax law requires (currently five years). A paid plan is cancelled when you delete your account, so you are not charged again.
  • Backups. Our nightly backups still hold your data until they roll off, within 14 days.
